The Civil Contingencies Secretariat has developed a Business Continuity Toolkit to help buinesses implement Business Continutiy Management
Contact your local authority Emergency Planning Officer (find your local authority using the Directgov directory). Under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, local authorities have a duty to provide generic advice and assistance regarding Business Continuity Management. They may also provide specific services to businesses, although not obliged to do so. A charge may be made for specific advice on a cost-recovery basis.
