  • The Civil Contingencies Secretariat has developed a Business Continuity Toolkit to help buinesses implement Business Continutiy Management

  • Contact your local authority Emergency Planning Officer (find your local authority using the Directgov directory).  Under the Civil Contingencies Act 2004, local authorities have a duty to provide generic advice and assistance regarding Business Continuity Management.  They may also provide specific services to businesses, although not obliged to do so.  A charge may be made for specific advice on a cost-recovery basis.
